beautiful an' many thanks!--especially loved yer interp. of all the sensory "blessins"--the incense, the descriptions of the artwork, the fabric, the colors (of the ark too, etc).. an' the "idear" that this was for ALL of us--not just the leaders / rabbis. I never thought've it that way but appreciating these things--God's gifts to all the senses if ya will--was SO important in my own "fam" growin' up--it's indeed a chewish thing--food--the smells, the flavors--too--SO important an' I never tied it in with it as a blessing--or dated it back to torah (of course they'd "nevah" teach you these passages in temple--but the descriptions are kinda Dickensian, no?) grattytude from a "dish queen" (to my hubby's chagrin!)
