Bemidbar/Numbers 15:37-40

“And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying, ‘Speak to the children of Yisrael, and you shall say to them to make tzitzit on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and to put a blue cord in the tzitzit of the corners. And it shall be to you for a tzitzit and you shall see it, and shall remember all the commands of יהוה and shall do them, and not search after your own heart and your own eyes after which you went whoring, so that you remember, and shall do all My commands, and be set-apart unto your Elohim.’ “

The three similarly-written accounts of Yeshua are called the synoptic gospels by Christian theologians. (Matthias/Matthew, Mark, Luke. Yohanan/John is the different account.)

The people didn’t sit in the tabernacle. It was primarily a place of sacrifice. It was a place for the priests to carry out their tasks of offering the sacrifices that the people brought to God, as well as the required daily sacrifices. There was no place to sit and nowhere near enough space inside for even all the Levites to sit, much less all the people.

The tabernacle was a place of activity. Animals making noise, water and wood being carried in. It would have been a hot, noisy, smoky, and probably smelly place. Like a big outdoor butcher shop.

There is a huge misunderstanding in our country about the “separation of Church and state,” which is not in the Declaration of Independence or the constitution, but was taken out of context from a Thomas Jefferson letter.

As John Adams so wisely stated: “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” The morality and religion he was talking about were the standards given in the Bible.

Liberty without righteousness according to God’s standards, is worthless, and will ultimately do more harm than good.

Living in opposition to what is right - defying God’s plan and purpose for man/humanity - undermines true liberty rather than promoting or establishing it.

I can never seem to catch this live!!! It's a great thing you are doing; Forgive my narrow focus, but somehow I think this point will be meaningful to you. As I have said previously, I am addicted to "The Chosen" and your original Hebrew translation reading of Genesis 36 from the Geneva Bible is totally in keeping with the theme of giving from the heart versus "because its the law". "If a man forces you to walk with him one mile, walk with him two".
